ENGIE are recruiting for a Mobile M&E Engineer to be based at Sandyford Community Fire Station, ST6 5NZ. This is a permanent, full time role working 40 hours a week. On offer is a salary banding of £26,000 - £28,000, dependent upon skills and experience and high-quality benefits package.

General Overview:
Working across Staffordshire Fire and Rescue contract, the Multi-Skilled Engineer will be responsible for the technical performance and maintenance of standards within the contract.

A day in the life of one of our Service Engineers typically starts with a review and prioritisation of tasks scheduled for the specific day. Main responsibilities would include operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment, systems or processes to achieve business requirements and serve our customer's needs.

This would include reviewing technical documents for planned works, conferring with other personnel to resolve design or operational problems, evaluating characteristics of equipment and systems and management of ENGIE Contractors.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Work with the management team, sites caretakers & helpdesk to ensure that tasks are planned and delivered to client specification and agreed service and KPI requirements.
·  Carry out electrical / mechanical maintenance, reactive repairs and fault finding
·  Carry out planned and minor project electrical / mechanical works
·  Provide out of hours cover as part of a Rota
·  Establish good working relationships with other team members, provide guidance to others (e.g. Helpdesk & Apprentices)
·  Willingly contribute to the overall team and company objectives, responding quickly to new directives

Qualifications, Skills or Required Experience:

·  Police Vetting & DBS checks required
·  Clean Driving licence
·  18th Edition Electrical certification
·  Approved and formal apprenticeship served in relevant skill area or a minimum of 4 years relevant and practical experience within a similar industry.
·  Electrical Inspection and test desirable
·  Basic plumbing and mechanical skills
