ENGIE are recruiting for a Materials Coordinator to be based at
Rotherham S63 7ER . This is a permanent full time role working Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 PM. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview:

The successful candidate will control and co-ordinate the scheduling of all materials. To ensure all requisitions are completed and placed in line with the project programme. Reporting into the Technical Manager.
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Produce accurate material schedules in accordance with Programme requirements
·  Monitor completion of material schedules against Programme requirements
·  Have up to date knowledge of all appropriate legislation, regulations and standards affecting the preparation of material schedules
·  Undertake regular site visits to review material schedule accuracy against site practice and provide guidance to Site Manager regarding efficient use of materials.
·  Check measured quantities against those allowed for within the tender estimate and identify any discrepancies
·  Ensure all materials requisitioned are in line with the project drawings and specification and are accurately notated.
·  Ensure timely approval of samples for planning condition discharge, clients' product/colour choices, etc.
·  Monitor and update project demand schedules
·  Be aware of new products and research build systems to ensure we are ready for legislation and market change
·  Place addendum orders where required
·  Liaise with site personnel
·  Review “Buildability”
·  Have a professional attitude
·  Create a team spirit with our Partner consultants to ensure the Company receives total commitment
·  Develop and enhance the reputation of Engie.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

·  Significant experience in a similar role
·  Familiar with Building regulations, Planning requirements and Warranty providers requirements
·  A working background in either buying or at senior site level For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK. There is no re-location package with this job role.
