ENGIE are recruiting for a Maintenance Response Operative to be based in Blackburn, Lancashire. This is a permanent full-time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £21,850-£22,543, dependent upon skills and experience and a benefits package.

The shift pattern will consist of 3 shifts on and 3 shifts off.

General Overview:

· 
The Maintenance Response Operative carries out planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the healthcare estate. The position ensures that ENGIE are able to meet their statutory and contractual obligations whilst simultaneously providing an excellent service to our customers.

· 
The Maintenance Response Operative makes up part of the facilities maintenance team which contributes to the effective and efficient operation of the estate and associated engineering systems that is conducive for the delivery of healthcare

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

· 
To undertake a proactive role in carrying out maintenance, repairs and inspection of building services, fabric, fixtures and fittings. All in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures and in compliance with legislation and guidance.

· 
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on building services in accordance with the PPM programme and personal competence and training.

· 
Respond in a timely manner to ad-hoc breakdown requests as identified by the help desk / supervisor / manager or as a minimum, as per site contract.

· 
Assist in Carrying out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works.

· 
Assist in Carrying out systematic fault finding in a logical and safe manner on malfunctioning equipment.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Previously worked within a general maintenance environment.
·  Previously worked within a customer facing role
·  DBS/DS Standard

Desirable Experience

·  Previously worked within a healthcare environment
·  Experience of computer based task monitoring systems (CAFM)
·  Previous experience of Mechanical Systems, DHW, LPHW, CHW
·  Previous experience of Steam Systems
·  Electrical qualifications
