Maintenance Operative

ENGIE are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to be based at the Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital, BB2 3HH. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

This is a shift role, the 40 hours will be based on a 5 week rotation covering days, nights and weekends.

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the healthcare estate, allowing us to meet statutory and contractual obligations whilst providing an excellent service to the client.


Role Overview

· 
Carry out maintenance, repairs and inspection of mechanical building services.

· 
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and associated building services

· 
Respond in a timely manner to ad-hoc breakdown requests

· 
Assist in Carrying out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works.

· 
Assist in Carrying out systematic fault finding in a logical and safe manner on malfunctioning equipment.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Electrical qualifications (desirable)
·  Previously worked within a maintenance environment.
·  Worked on Mechanical Systems, DHW, LPHW, CHW
·  Worked on Steam Systems (desirable)
·  Worked on Autoclaves (desirable)
