Junior Engineer – Power Generation

The working environment

To grow, develop and lead the desalination engineering team in the Middle East region.  Utilizing your expertise to grow the business and the team.  Provide input into Technical proposals, lead the engineering office support to project delivery and find new ways of accessing the market through your expertise.  Working closely with stakeholders to provide a confidence in our output.

This role reports operationally into the Regional Product Manager – Power Generation. 

The role is office based in Dubai. Occasional international travel may be required from time to time. The work also involve: Work on multiple projects, managing own time to meet deadlines. Producing written reports and other documentation Supporting the continuous improvement and development of group procedures and documentation. Any other appropriate duties as directed by line management.

Your function

Prepare proposals, presentations, Minutes of Meetings and also perform project management officer activities. In addition to that the role will involve working within the Energy Team, to provide technical consulting services throughout the development, procurement and construction phases of solar/wind farm projects. The work will involve management of complex commercial and technical projects and resourced from multiple internal business streams.

 
Qualif ications

·  MUST be currently working in the UAE with an Engineering Design or Consultancy and not with a Contractor.
·  MUST have experience working on Projects in the GCC, not only proposals.
·  Experience on Solar Design Software. PVSyst and PVlib
·  Experience on Solar Design Statistical Analysis.
·  Experience on Water Projects.
·  Ability to write clear and accurate reports in English
·  As per the client's requirements, degree-qualified from a Western institution is requested.
