Job description



ENGIE is a global energy player and an expert operator in the three businesses of electricity, natural gas and energy services.  Our organization is looking for a Technical Manager (EPC) in Córdoba (Spain), for a project consisting of a 50MW PV Generation plant, currently in developping phase.
 
Job functions:
·  Overall the candidate shall be the responsible for the designing, evaluating and optimizing design/s of the PV plants and MV/HV/Substations under analysis and construction.  
·  In the preparation phase the candidate shall be responsible to coordinate with the PV plant design and prepare different optimized scenarios of plant design, generation, evacuation lines and interconnection with the utility that would maximize its value along the complete lifecycle
·  Coordination with the Project Manager responsible for the project, shall support the BD team with all technical aspects of the deal which require his/her input. 
·  Preparing and leading technical conversations in relation of the plant design and interconnection part of the plants with support engineering firms, technical DD advisors, local utilities, etc.   
·  The applicant shall be responsible to analyse from the technical side all new and current upgraded equipment in the market in order to achieve the best results on the plants. Together with the PM in charge and supply change management shall provide the technical inputs needed to prepare tender specifications and evaluations in tendering processes for the procurement of equipment, BOS and EPC services specially focused in the substation and MV/HV lines of the evacuation line from the plan to the point of connection.
·  During the execution, the candidate shall be responsible to analyse possible deviations from the intended design or technical specifications and to provide feedback and alternative viable solutions.
·  Provide feedback to all other functions and create when adequate, technical instructional datasheets and brochures in order to have all organization informed of the current and future status of the plants in terms of engineering and design.

Minimum Requirements:
·  University degree like Engineering or similar.
·  Minimum five years experience as Technical Manager.
·  Proven experience in the design of photovoltaic plants.
