ENGIE are recruiting for an Infrastructure engineer - SharePoint to be based in Leeds (LS12 1BE), Newcastle upon Tyne (NE12 8EX) or London (E14 5LQ). This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview:


The role of Infrastructure Engineer is to:

·  Support the business in its adoption of SharePoint and to move to use SharePoint in the Cloud – also to cover another office 365 applications as:
·  Yammer
·  One Drive
·  Teams
·  Provide governance and advice on the user of SharePoint to Business areas to improve their effectiveness and improve productivity.
·  Work with Support Areas to Provide Guidance and support with their Promotion of SharePoint and other Office 365 Products to the end-user
·  Act as a single point of reference for SharePoint Escalation adoption queries with the Local Business Unit.
·  Responsible for driving the use of SharePoint and one drive to remove legacy data based on file servers
·  Educate, train and advise the business on Office 365 5 core products: SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive
·  Ensure Local Business Adoption aligns with Engie Group SharePoint strategy.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Training qualifications or MS Office recognised courses.
·  ITIL.
·  Appropriate technical qualifications, e.g. Microsoft (MCSE), Cisco (CCNA / CCNP), Citrix Administrator.
·  Experience in IT training and similar adoption programs.
·  Previous Experience of Windows 10 refreshes/roll outs.
·  Experience with Cloud based offerings, including Azure, AWS.
·  Deep knowledge of Sharepoint both on premise and in the cloud with experience of all 5 office 365 core apps as a minimum. Including details on data governance and retention .
·  The role requires practical knowledge of a wide range of Infrastructure & Back Office products that can interface with the Sharepoint
·  Knowledge of infrastructure technology to be able to advise on the selection of optimal solutions to business problems; Infrastructure design, maintenance and support techniques and procedures.
·  Understanding of Active Directory and specifically managing object permissions
