ENGIE are recruiting for a Fabric Carpenter to work nights at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. This is 3-month zero hours fixed term contract.

You will be required to undertake improvement work, maintenance and repairs to the fabric of the building.

• The responsibilities will mainly be at the Acute Hospital, but will also include duties at the Mental Health unit and Retained Estate if the business needs arise.

• To undertake any reasonable duties to maintain all services to the NHS Trust(s) Estate

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

• The maintenance Carpenter must have a background in many Fabric areas

• Will have a good working knowledge of maintenance fabric services.

• City and Guilds/ NVQ in Carpentry

• Recognised apprenticeship

• Preferred experience within a hospital environment/ critical environment
