Job description



The Environmental Reporting team (ENGIE CC) is currently looking for an Environmental Reporting and Data Officer to respond to a number of challenges posed by the energy transition and to ensure the department delivers optimum performance. The main duty in this role is to gather and compile data for the purpose of assessing the Group's environmental performance.

The Officer will be part of the Group's Corporate Social Responsibility Department (CSRD) in the CSR Performance Department. They will report to the Group's Environment Coordinator and work closely with the Environmental Data Manager.

Your mission

·  manage the reporting tool (SaaS solution)
·  oversee multiple reporting campaigns (scope, indicators, users, parameters, etc.)
·  define and create dashboards to facilitate in particular an annual summary report for the CSRD
·  flag future needs in relation to reporting
·  create and adapt reports for international and external clients
·  analyse data consistency at the end of campaigns
·  follow up with software publishers on incidents and requests for changes
·  continuous improvement of processes and indicators
·  throughout the process, communicate with:
·  environmental Officers from BUs to gather necessary information to prepare campaigns and ensure compliance with deadlines
·  external auditors to respond to their requests for information
·  multiple stakeholders involved in reporting
·  support external auditors on an ad-hoc during on-site in audits in Europe and abroad (approx. three to eight days in the fourth quarter)
·  technical support for tool users
·  your external contacts: external auditors appointed by the Group's statutory auditors (auditors)
·  your internal contacts: the CSR Department and team, BU and site Environmental Officers, BU technical experts, other Corporate departments

Your profile

·  an engineering degree or a master's in IT, maths or economics. This can also be in the form of a bachelor's degree in these specialisations in addition to three to five years of professional experience in data management
·  training in environmental management is a plus
·  professional experience on an operational site is a plus
·  proficiency in 365 tools (in particular MS Excel and VBA). Familiarity with MS Access is a plus
·  interest in technology and software. Familiarity with one or more business intelligence tools (preferably Power BI)
·  interest in environmental questions and CSR
·  flexible and customer-oriented at all times
·  good communication skills and ability to compromise
·  good listening skills and ability to identify important information
·  organised
·  deadline-focused and able to flag issues if necessary
·  rapidly identify and resolve problems
·  persuasive and creative when finding solutions
·  fluent written and spoken English and French. Knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus
