Essential Job Functions

·  Learn ENGIE’s project development and implementation methods
·  Assist Project Engineers with engineering analysis, design and commissioning of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects
·  Learn about solar photovoltaic systems, including the ability to perform solar site surveys and calculate potential generation and utility cost savings, and estimating system costs
·  Perform lighting and water surveys and identify energy savings opportunities
·  Become familiar with HVAC systems, including the ability to identify different systems and equipment, identify potential energy savings measures, and quantify the potential energy savings
·  Analyze utility data to verify existing customer loads, consider rate change options and calculate energy cost savings 
·  Understand metering and measurement tools and the data provided
·  Prepare utility and other incentive program applications
·  Potentially be onsite to assist construction manager with daily construction activities
·  Other tasks as assigned by Manager/Mentor

Requirements

 

·  Experience in conducting research and analysis through course work or work experience
·  Ability to perform technical calculations, and prepare deliverables
·  Enrolled active student at an accredited 2-or-4 year College or University in good academic standing with a Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering emphasis (transcripts may be requested)
·  Excellent written communication skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Excel and Power Point 
·  Willingness and ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects
·  Ability to work without supervision

·  Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
·  Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer Education/Experience
·  Enrolled active student at an accredited 2-or-4 year College or University in good academic standing Working Environment
