Job description


General Purpose

The role of the Energy Management Engineer is to plan, execute Energy Audit. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of the third-party contractors or consultants in order to submit reports according to plan. The Energy Management Engineer will also define the improvements, participate for the coordination, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals and corresponding cost accompanying the improvements to be done.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·  Conduct Energy Audit
·  Analyze gathered data leading to energy audit reports.
·  Plan and schedule audit timelines
·  Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
·  Provide quality assurance
·  Provide assistance on the Operation Manager on a case to case basis as the need arises
·  Support on the initial costing during the preliminary and detailed stage of the project
·  Be able to validate technical options offered by the contractors/consultants and design basic improvement (pipes routing, sizing, pumps capacity, etc.) in the fields of common utilities (chilled water, air conditioning, compressed air)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
·  Licensed Mechanical Engineer
·  With at least 2 years experience in the operation and maintenance of utilities such as Chilled water plant/ HVAC, Compressed air system, Hot water system
·  Has design experience on electro-mechanical systems (pump/pipe sizing, etc.)
·  Qualification in energy management or equivalent an advantage
·  Knowledge of energy management techniques, software and tools
·  Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
