ENGIE are recruiting for a Assistant Site Manager with an office base at Hebburn NE31 2EX covering sites at High Bentham and Oxenholme. This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30 and Friday 8:00 - 15:30. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

The role of the Assistant Site Manager is to assist the site team to manage the building project in accordance with agreed timescales, quality and cost.  

Also to develop excellent relationships with customers and assist in managing the Supply Chain.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

· 
Adherence to the Company quality standards 

·  Assist with the preparation of the Health and Safety file
·  Read and understand Specification, Drawings, Preliminaries, Preambles and Contract Documentation
·  To assist the site team with the Completion of the Contract in accordance with the agreed Plan and Programme
·  Assist the site team, Buying Department and the QS dept 
·  Attend monthly Cost Meetings when requested and agree contribution forecast
·  Assist the site team to ensure that all of the works are handed over to the customer
·  Fill in and Complete Weekly Progress Monitor
·  Maintain and update Construction Phase Health & Safety plan as works proceed

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Ability to fully operate Microsoft Project
·  Financial and commercial awareness
·  Ability to competently operate MS office (Word & Excel)
·  Current and Valid UK driving licence
·  Previous  Site experience 
·  Up to date relevant knowledge of building legislation
·  Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
·  Understanding of local government construction (refurb/New Build) projects
