Role Summary:

We are currently hiring a  MS Exchange Engineer , with extensive experience to work at our Galway office. All our engineers require a good level of analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to not only own and run issues from start to resolution, take on the varying requirements of project work but are also required to be client focused with a high standard of communication and documentation skills.

The successful candidate will provide 3rd Level technical support, design, consultation and technical leadership. They will also be responsible for service level aspects of customer delivery in line with an agreed Statement of Work and Service Level Objectives. They will contribute to customer service reviews are responsible for presenting recommendations regarding capacity and performance. They are also responsible for ensuring that all changes meet production criteria, liaise with resource involved in carrying out of changes (including the customer) and acting as first point of escalation for customer delivery issues.

Key Requirements and Responsibilities:

·  Resolve client technical issues within pre-agreed timelines
·  Drive resolution and root cause analysis of business critical and complex incidents.
·  Provide technical expertise in Office 365, Exchange 2010+ and Lync/ Skype enterprise solutions to internal and external parties.
·  Be ready to support and build standard and non-standard solutions to answer our clients’ business needs.
·  Proactively identify risks in customers infrastructure, maintain and improve availability, performance and security.
·  Messaging & Unified Comms Engineer
·  SharePoint Security Gateway Appliances.
·  Enterprise Archive Solutions.
·  PowerShell awareness and/or scripting ability.

Nice to have but if you do not have it, we'll help train you up:

·  Exposure to Unix, Linux, Wintel.
·  Implementation experience to tight timescales.
·  Experience of IT security.
·  Exposure to scripting through Automation.

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
·  Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field preferred.
·  Experience working with virtual technologies.
·  Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills

Other Qualifications:

·  Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work and multitask.
·  Good analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems.
·  Good communication skills to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers.
·  Basic skills in integrating distributed computing hardware and software systems.
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·  May require on-call, shift, weekend and evening work.
