Test Analyst – Automation

DXC Technology’s Digital Transformation Centre (DTC) focus’ on the development and delivery of next-generation digital services and solutions — including applications, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics and intelligent automation — that serve the company’s global clients.

The centre will apply a Lean start-up approach based on design thinking as well as Agile, Lean and DevOps principles to rapidly develop solutions to client’s business challenges, delivering measurable business value in alignment with client’s business strategies. 

Key Responsibilities:

·  Develop effective, reusable and maintainable automated functional test frameworks and test cases to achieve maximum code coverage in a fast-paced agile environment
·  Work with product and engineering teams to plan, develop and execute automated test suites
·  Maintain, evaluate and address issues with automated tests
·  Responsible for defect tracking, communication and resolution
·  Implement efficient monitoring and analysis of automated test result
·  Provide scheduled progress reports to management
·  Expertise in Test Complete, Selenium, or JavaScript. Proficiency in other scripting languages is desired, such as C# and Unix Shell Scripts, etc
·  Hands-on experience with test management tools such as JIRA, Confluence VSTS or HP ALM is preferred

Key Skills:

·  5+ years of automation build process experience, in application deployments and continuous integration systems
·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related years of experience
·  Experience with all phases of software testing including test planning, functional testing, and regression testing
·  Experience testing all layers of Web applications
·  Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced agile environment

Due to Federal Government client requirements, applicants must currently be  Australian Citizens  and be eligible to gain a Baseline Security Clearance.
