Manages and provides direct oversight of the activities of the one or more of the following areas: Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

·  Directs the assigned department to policy and procedures related to QA.
·  Manages a team of quality assurance representatives, handles QA documentation.
·  Includes recruitment, development, and motivation of staff.
·  Initiates and communicates a variety of personnel actions that includes employment, termination, performance reviews, salary reviews, and disciplinary actions.
·  Facilitates meetings with the customer/client and the necessary management team to discuss various issues; offers suggestion of improvement and/or changes; assists with the implementation of change.
·  Assists with problem solving and resolution of complex issues.
·  Resolves problems proactively to insure compliance with contract terms. 
·  Analyzes data as needed to implement new processes for improvement.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·  Leadership qualities/Past QA experience
·  Working knowledge of statistical process control
·  Problem solving skills
·  Good knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel)
·  Ability to multi task in a high paced environment
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Ability to abide by Molina’s policies
·  Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work
·  Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
·  Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers

Qualifications

·  Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
·  5 Years of Supervisory experience
·  Quality control and analysis experience
·  Statistics background
·  Healthcare Insurance is highly preferred
