The QA & automation test engineer is part of the WW Analytics team. (S)He works with quality assurance analysts, Hadoop experts, experienced software developers, data scientists and technology experts to deliver analytic solutions for our customers.

Role and Responsibilities:

•    Design and develop a 'continuous integration framework' to ensure automated and regular testing of autonomous driving platform, toolkit and accelerators across the entire end-to-end 
•    Identify solution requirements and to develop test strategies utilizing test automation best practices
•    Run QA for continuous Robotic Drive releases and product increments (auto-release pipeline, version & release notes, source code, benchmarking, technical documentation, client facing documentation etc.)
•    Execute automated testing scripts and generate testing result reports
•    Responsible for the testing of all functionalities and hybrid/cloud/bare metal benchmarking; identification and documentation of all defects, assessment of impacts, provisioning of resolutions
•    Investigate problems in infrastructure components as a result of testing and find solutions for continuous improvement

Education and Competencies:

•    Bachelor or Master degree required in informatics, business informatics, business administration or equivalent qualification
•    Languages: English (fluent)
•    At least 1 year of experience in the IT industry in analytic application/solution software development
•    At least 1 year of experience in test automation tasks
•    Minimum 2 year of proven experience in software development (e.g. Java, Python, Spark)
•    3+ years of experience CI/CD, Jenkins, Ansible, GitLab
•    1 year of experience in Docker containerization and Linux
•    Know-how in all phases of a Big Data software automation testing, QA and reporting
•    Strong customer focus, assertiveness and precise method of operation
•    Possesses an understanding of architectural dependencies of technologies in the customer's analytic environments
•    Able to communicate and present internally and externally in a confident manner 
•    Highly motivated team player
