The Publications Coordinator is responsible for all development and publication of all KS Medicaid provider communications. This role works closely with our client and DXC account staff to develop and maintain publications both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

Interact directly with DXC clients, internal account staff, project managers and upper level management on any items related to provider and member communication and publications

Monitor changes to state Medicaid policy, programs or pricing changes, evaluate the need for provider notification/publication update

Update website content for Kansas Medicaid Providers and Members, and influence design of the website to improve user experience

Develop and publish special mailings, presentations, and other communication pieces

Update internal policy and process documentation, including aiding in the development of training materials

Influence the internal account teams in adoption of DXC corporate and commercial tools that enhance communications

Create and update editable forms

Usher notifications and publications through approval processes to meet required deadlines

Education and Experience:

·  Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications with proven writing and technical ability.
·  Proficiency with MS Word, Power Point and Excel required.
·  One plus years or more experience creating and publishing communication pieces in a professional environment.
·  Experience must include managing communications/publication projects, responsibility for developing content, editing and final publishing of documents.
·  Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining projects and meeting deadlines is critical.

Knowledge and Skills:

·  Excellent oral and written communication skills
·  Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
·  High level of English (usage and grammar) proficiency
·  Experienced with MS Word, Power Point and Excel
·  Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro experience a plus
·  Basic MS Publisher Skills a plus
·  Detail oriented/highly organized
·  Experience with Microsoft SharePoint content administration a plus
·  Knowledge of Kansas Medicaid Program helpful
