Summary
Generates sales prospects in assigned territory, industry or accounts. Qualifies, sells and assists in closing sales opportunities. Gains expertise on company's and competitor's inside sales and information technology (IT) generation services.

Essential Job Functions

·  Generates sales prospects in assigned territory, industry or accounts. Participates in the sales cycle from start to finish for delivery of business solutions. Meets or exceeds annual new business revenue target for inside sales and lead IT generation services within a defined sales territory. Carries a small quota aligned to the scope of territory and/or services.
·  Works with the client relationship and account management to assist in developing an account development plan for accounts within assigned sales territory.
·  Qualifies and develops opportunities within the Company's service capabilities or workloads and capacities.
·  Provides pre-sales support to client relationship personnel to drive the pipeline of qualified leads across a small sales territory. Engages with the same to qualify leads into opportunities. Executes the standard sales process through to closure.
·  Addresses basic client business problems by applying sales offerings. Develops a compelling value proposition for our solutions based on a solid business case and its overall impact on the client's agenda as well as company goals.
·  Researches and assists in assessing competitors by analyzing and evaluating competitor information and trends, identifies prospective sales opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
·  Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
·  Three or more years of business development or sales experience
·  Experience working with the technology industry, specifically inside sales and lead IT generation for services and capabilities
·  Experience working with technology products, services, competencies, and solutions
·  Experience working with a standard sales methodology and supporting tools and applications
·  Experience in cold calling, lead generation and inside sales for IT services

·  Communication skills to listen to the client and articulate back for solutioning
