Summary

Provides external client-facing consulting services in a specific functional or technical discipline for a consulting practice with regional or global scope. Additionally, contributes to local practice business strategy and direction as a member of the practice management team. Ensures that profit objectives, sales targets, personal utilization and revenue goals are met.

Essential Job Functions

·  Provides external client-facing consulting services in a specific functional or technical discipline for a consulting practice with regional or global scope.
·  Demonstrates subject matter expertise in chosen discipline while designing and delivering solutions to client needs across domains of change.
·  Manages assigned consultants within the practice, guiding staff development, project delivery, sales generation, and related client relationships.
·  Meets personal utilization and revenue goals; monitors achievement of practice profit objectives and sales targets.
·  Acts as a liaison with resource management and assists in deploying resources to support business needs.
·  Manages client expectations and balances the needs of the company and the client to promote satisfaction for both.
·  Participates in proposal efforts and sales calls.
·  Performs consultative selling and leverages best practices and experiences to win new engagement business.
·  Communicates in formal presentation settings including medium to large sized groups of key decision makers at the executive level; tailors presentations to needs and interests of the audience. Develops articles and white papers covering areas of expertise.
·  Selects and hires employees. Trains, motivates and evaluates employees to enhance staff performance and develop employees. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.
·  Provides input to operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary.

Basic Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
·  Bachelor's degree in business, information technology or related field preferred
·  Nine or more years of industry or client relationship experience
·  Five or more years of relevant consulting experience included
·  Five or more years of leadership or supervisory experience
·  Experience working with concepts, practices, and procedures in areas of responsibilities
·  Experience working with management implications of various forms of financial data

·  Ability to understand and identify with client business and business conditions
·  Willingness to travel
