Job Responsibilities:

Handles and leads the most complex or critical data/ database management initiatives that typically involve multiple disciplines and multiple business groups, including responsibility for database architecture, design, integration, and/or data modeling.

·  Design database environments and create databases
·  Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain database objects
·  Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain database security and audit solutions
·  Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain database recovery solutions
·  Execute data recovery
·  Manage database performance, capacity and availability
·  DBMS SW implementation, upgrade, patching
·  Consults extensively with multiple client groups to provide strategic solutions, influencing long-range internal and enterprise-level data/ database architecture and management strategies.
·  Provide Advise to business and technical personnel on data analysis principles, methods and trends.
·  Design complex Data Transformation Strategies for Business Intelligence or Data Migration.
·  Lead complex Model Conversion (Data Mapping) to produce a Data Dictionary and data mapping matrix between the external software and the internal database for business function replacement.
·  Develop and maintain database support documentation.
·  Serves as a consultant on technological advancements. Provides oversight, mentoring and leadership to less experienced staff.
·  May represent the organization as an external spokesperson.
·  Participate in production 24x7 on call support.
·  Develops customer technology solutions using various industry products and technologies.
·  Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new methods to apply to the situation.

Skills and Requirements:

·  AWS and/or Azure Cloud migration preferred
·  Experience supporting database migration projects
·  Oracle 11g, 12c experience required.
·  HP-UX, Linux experience required.
·  Grid Control/OEM experience required.
·  Scripting in ksh and Perl required. PL/SQL programming experience/knowledge is preferred.
·  11g or 12c RAC experience required.
·  Oracle ASM experience required.
·  Oracle Exadata experience a plus.
·  Oracle DataGuard experience a plus.
·  Oracle 11g or 12c OCP DBA certification is a plus.
·  Experience working with VLDB databases including partitioning required.
·  Bachelor or Master degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field required.
·  Minimum 5 years Oracle DBA experience including extensive production support required.
·  Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
·  Must be US citizen or eligible to work in the US.

Education and Experience Required:

·  8+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study. ��
