Applications Services Global Delivery Poland, a large, growing delivery center located in Warsaw and Łódź, offers high quality Applications Development and Applications Management Services to DXC customers all over the world. The Center’s portfolio covers full software lifecycle, including: Applications Development; Applications Management, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Testing, Business and Systems Analysis. The main technology focus is on Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence, Big Data, Data Science and Cloud systems. Most of the Center's employees hold multiple certifications in these areas.

We are looking for:

MS Azure/Windows Platform Engineer

Job location: Warsaw, Łódź or remotely

Job description:

·  Management, administration and enhancements to Front-end systems based on Big data architecture in MS Azure cloud environment
·  Taking part in large scale projects, eg migrations to Cloud, building new environments/scaling/  performance tuning, upgrades, implementing security concepts
·  Troubleshooting users’ issues on platform level
·  Development and release of approved changes based on customer requirements
·  Candidate will be fully trained to perform duties

Skills background:

·  Understanding of Infrastructure and Platform components and familiarity with performance tuning (network, servers, Active Directory, load balancers); technical knowledge and experience in Hosting and related technologies (Cloud, Windows Server 2016, storage, backup, virtualization, etc.)
·  Experience in BI or ETL technologies (eg Tableau, Qlicksense, Qlickview, Alteryx, SAP BO)
·  Proficient communication skills (English) with both technical and non-technical colleagues from geographically distributed teams on all organizational levels
·  Being a team-player with problem-solving, proactive and initiative-taking attitude who can challenge the status quo
·  Experience working with external companies, professional and responsible approach to work with customer focus
·  Willingness to operate in flexible work arrangements

Nice-to-have:

·  Familiarity with ITIL framework and related certificates
