Summary

The Technical Support Engineer position is with the Web Hosting Team for High Availability and Mission Critical services. This position is responsible for the hosting infrastructure environment, for Intranet and Internet web sites and applications for multiple companies.  The Technical Support Engineer position is responsible for deliverables ranging from technical road-maps coordination, change management, the maintaining of hosting standards, and application outage restoration and problem resolution.

Job Description

·  6+ years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
·  Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Tomcat administration and support.
·  Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Apache administration and support.
·  Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Weblogic administration and support.
·  Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Jboss administration and support.
·  Windows 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, HPUX, Linux Operating Systems, all versions of IIS, Apache, HTTP, HTTPS and content load balancing fundamental knowledge.
·  Experience with UNIX/Linux/Solaris operating systems and shell scripting desirable.
·  C or C++ programming language knowledge.
·  Python programming knowledge.
·  Ansible experience.
·  Automation experience.
·  Batch, PowerShell scripting knowledge.
·  Java Scripting knowledge.
·  Siteminder/UID knowledge preferred.
·  Excellent communication skills, team oriented, self-motivated, and has the ability to work unattended.
·  HP Service Manager (HPSM) and ServiceNow awareness.
·  ITIL v3 knowledge or certification preferred.
