DXC is seeking a Junior Network and Gateway Engineer to augment its Network & Gateway team based in Adelaide, South Australia.

Duties

·  Train in the support of the Network and Gateway technologies and associated devices.
·  Document networks, security models, standard operational procedures and update the knowledge base library to ensure that knowledge is current, shared and retained.
·  Maintain/Monitor, troubleshoot and report on Network & Gateway environment.
·  Incident and Service Request Management work.
·  Provision of 2nd level support to assist in recovery from Network and Gateway failures in a timely manner with an approach that minimizes impact on business operations.

Skills & Experience

·  Knowledge of Cisco/HP Network hardware experience
·  Knowledge of F5, Checkpoint, and Bluecoat devices
·  Working towards or achieved Certifications in Networking
·  Tertiary qualifications or working towards tertiary qualifications in an IT Networking discipline

·  Good problem investigation and troubleshooting skills.
·  Ability to work with minimal supervision.
·  Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
·  Ability to work to tight deadlines and time constraints.
·  Team player, motivated with a strong customer focus.
·  Demonstrate leadership attributes in being pro-active
