·  Job Description:

Position Summary

·  This role will be responsible for the Enterprise driven changes that are planned within the client environment, performing troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
·  Work with 3rd party vendors, subcontractors and support teams to effectively support the environment  
·  Create and maintain relevant support documentation.
·  Specific tasks include Storage migration, moving backups to new backup infrastructure, network related changes, moving servers and VMs from one data center to another.
·  Adhere to change control – create and implement changes as required to maintain the environment and ensure stability of the infrastructure and relevant supported services.
·  Assist with projects as required. Some project may require after hour work.

Key responsibilities include:

·  Infrastructure engineer resource will help the team with all the Enterprise driven changes in storage, backup and network areas that are planned to free the developers who will be able to focus on the strategic app delivery.  
·  The need is for someone that is a self-starter, has a fairly broad background and can work with all the involved teams to submit & coordinate changes for key initiatives.

Technical Knowledge Requirements:

·  Knowledge of storage, network, backup and recovery technologies is required.
·  Specific technologies include Cohesity data protection, Network BigIP, Nginx, VMware or equivalent technologies.
·  Strong networking fundamentals.
·  Hardware and datacenter management experience
·  Experience supporting DevOps environments using tools like Git, Jenkins. Maven, Puppet/Chef
·  At least 2+ years of experience Red Hat Linux administrator
·  At least 2+ years of experience as WebSphere/Tomcat administrator

MINIMUM Qualifications and Education Requirements:

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
·  ITIL Foundation Certificate v3 a bonus

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

·  A knack and desire for troubleshooting tough problems and digging into how things work.
·  Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
·  Solid communicator with great customer service skills.
·  Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
·  The ability to handle and keep track of many tasks at once and to manage time efficiently
·  Sound judgment and willingness to exercise same in sometimes ambiguous situations.
·  This position will include off hour work at times in the evenings to perform infrastructure changes after hours.
·  Prior experience in Airline industry is a big plus.
