The DXC Wisconsin Healthcare account is under contract with the state of Wisconsin to run its various healthcare programs (Medicaid, BadgerCare, SeniorCare, etc.). DXC has a communications team which is part of the account. The team consists of 8 writers, a copy editor, a managing editor and a desktop publisher.

Healthcare Account Editor/Writers on the communication team:

·  Develop publications for healthcare providers such as physicians, hospitals, dentists, etc. These publications give providers information on how to bill, services covered, limitations, etc. We write between 75-100 publications per year.
·  Work closely with policy staff at the state and internal content experts at DXC to develop the publication information.
·  Have strong project management skills and are able to handle multiple publications simultaneously (on average, writers are actively working on five to seven publications).
·  Are able to do some web coding (or are willing to learn).

Skills and Qualifications:

·  Strong written communications skills.
·  Strong project management skills.
·  Excellent interpersonal skills.
·  Ability to be self-directed.
·  Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects of varying complexity.
·  Degree in journalism, communications, or English.
·  1+ years of communications-related work or internships preferred.
·  Ability to use MS Office, Adobe InDesign.
