Finance Analyst - Controllership

Roles/Responsibilities:

·  Monthly GST and WHT filing, support local tax audit and follow up on tax related matters
·  Quarterly and annual Singapore Statistic (SingStat) surveys completion and submission
·  Support Asia Regional Tax team to complete corporate income tax return filing
·  Review quarter pre-tax earnings forecast at entity level and foreign tax provision (FTP) forecast
·  Quarterly journal posting of income and deferred tax adjustment
·  Support policy and process improvement and identify opportunities
·  Monthly extraction and compilation of general ledger master data for analysis
·  Oversee compliance with financial accounting policies and local compliance requirements (Malaysia Accounting Standard, Companies Act, tax regulation, etc)
·  Coordinate local statutory audit, act as key contact for external auditor, provide supporting documents and address audit queries
·  Draft financial statements for entities within portfolio
·  Advise Business Operations and other teams on finance related matters
·  Address and resolve escalated issues
·  Represent Controllership on cross functional team meeting

Requirements: 

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
·  3 to 5 years audit/auditor experience
·  Strong accounting knowledge as well as analytical capabilities
·  Company financial and accounting policies knowledge
·  Typically experienced in more than one finance function
·  Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
·  Accounting principles knowledge
·  Strong communication skills
