Summary

You will join a skilled team providing on-site field support to DXC customers. This may include installations, repairs, upgrades and maintenance on hardware, software and other equipment.

Essential Job Functions

·  Provides on-site field support to customers including installation, servicing and repairing systems and equipment. Verifies and approves operational quality of IT system equipment.
·  Resolves customer issues in the areas of hardware installation, repair, upgrade and maintenance. Assists in investigating and resolving complex installations and maintenance matters of significance.
·  Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of systems/equipment.
·  Ensures issues are referred to the appropriate personnel/service areas for follow up, testing and troubleshooting.
·  Acts as a liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
·  Performs analysis and prepares reports on system problem trends and issues.

You will also need to have high level interpersonal skills to work with customers and other people as this role will be supporting a TechBar. You must have impeccable presentation and professionalism at all times, be confident

in your technical ability and capable of taking ownership of an issue until it is resolved. You will have a can do attitude, whilst being approachable and friendly. You must have clear and confident communication skills, with the

ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business and the end users. You will also need solid written communication skills.

Basic Qualifications

·  Must have experience supporting users face to face in Windows 10 in an enterprise environment
·  Experience with O365 suite of applications in an enterprise environment
·  Familiar with all aspects of PC data backup, re-imaging and troubleshooting a Windows based PC or Tablet
·  Support of mobile devices in an enterprise environment  
·  High school diploma or equivalent
·  Four or more years of field support experience
·  Experience working with a broad range of hardware, software and other equipment
·  Experience working with customer technology and support requirements
