DXC is considering talented consultants, with a strong Data Analysis project experience, in order to employ them at the headquarters of Milan inside the Delivery team DXC Analytics as Data Analyst , in the context of major projects, at our Customers, in different Industries.

DXC Analytics is focused on providing customers innovative solutions and high added value, in the following areas:  Analytics Solutions and Services, Big Data Platforms, Information Governance, Business Intelligence & Data Management, Artificial Intelligence and IoT Analytics.

Job responsibilities:

·  Finds customer needs, translates them in requirements, supports upselling/business development on new and existing contracts.
·  Collaborates with technical team and contributes to delivery activities during design, develop and maintenance of the solutions.
·  Designs modern and scalable data architecture, to implement Business Intelligence reporting and technical/functional specifications.
·  Delivers business value to customers using Functional/Technical skills, building a trusted relationship with key users.
·  Proposes Solutions that address Business Intelligence and Analytical business problems, needs and opportunities, in a manner consistent with DXC’s strategic and business goals.
·  Collaborates with Project Manager, to anticipate customer needs, in order to facilitate the definition and development of the solution and to ensure effective and efficient development, delivery, deployment, operation and support of these solutions.
·  Prioritizes the workload ensuring on time and on budget deliverables.

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics.
·  Consolidated professional experience on Business Intelligence projects and Big Data projects as Data Analyst
·  Strong Experience in Communications, Media, and Entertainment and Telco industries and related processes
·  Strong Experience on Data Modeling
·  Technical Skill:
·  Strong experience with one or more major RDBMS, data movement and processing, advanced SQL
·  Proficient in business intelligence tools and SQL
·  Nice to have:
·  Google Data Platform knowledge and experience (BigQuery in particular)
·  Tableau and MS Excel
·  Appreciated Self-Services BI analysis approach
·  Important relational skills with the end customer
·  Business problem solving, critical thinking and information analysis
·  Attitude to modelling and understanding of the data and the client’s business
·  Proactivity and ability to work in teams
·  Focus on the goals
·  Attention to details and constant attention to quality
·  Proficient English (both oral and written)
·  Availability to travel
