Summary:
As a member of an agile product team, collaborate with product owners, internal and external customers, technical leads and other team members in order to understand, identify and develop solutions according to business requirements. Other responsibilities include development of automated test solutions.
Education/Experience
· Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
· 5-7 years' experience of relevant technical work required
· Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, HTML, Java script and Python is strongly recommended
· Hands-on experience with application administration, systems support or development recommended
Responsibility level
· Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor
Skills
· Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
· Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience, including non-technical groups
· Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time
· Strong knowledge and experience with design techniques, principals and tools involved in production of drawings and models
· Strong understanding of computer software, such as .NET, Java, SQL, etc. Software development experience and interest in test automation.
· Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Conduct business process research and analysis. Prepare and document requirements, testing, cost benefit, return on investment analysis and other related solution artifacts according to enterprise standards.
· Develop, configure, deploy, conduct quality assurance testing, debug/refactor, and document technology solutions.
· Support, maintain, and administer deployed solutions.
· Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance. Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs.
· Train staff and users to work with computer systems and programs
