for Danone Waters Division!

This position based in Palaiseau (91) near Paris and may require up to 20% of traveling.

Under the responsibility of the SVP Quality & Food Safety Waters& funct. The mission of Quality & Food Safety in Operations team is to ensure our materials & services are safe and fir for purpose, ensure Food Safety compliance, contribute to overall performance of Operations and strive for excellence in execution. The scope covered by the team is 12 CBU’s 100 plants, our 3rd Party Manufacturers and Raws & Packs suppliers.

Reporting to the Quality in Operations Director, the Food Safety Operational Manager will have the following missions:

·  Coordinate and engage the food safety control in Waters WBU, to ensure it operates with no compromise on food safety, by strictly following the Danone Food Safety Policy and local regulations (when stricter) and anticipates emerging FS risks.
·  Ensure all FS@D standards are known, understood and implemented by all activities covered by Waters WBU, as well as all needed adaptation to local regulation.
·  Act as the WBU QFS single point of contact for food safety topics and liaise with FS@D regarding the Waters WBU business context, for prioritization, support and definition of the relevant standards.
·  Contribute to the Waters QFS management system by incorporating all Danone FS requirements into the necessary set of QFS instructions, audit grids, tools and references for an efficient implementation by CBUs, allowing to operationally control WBU product safety across the value chain.
·  To Drive the change from reaction to anticipation in Food Safety area.
·  To keep minimal the risk to operate for Danone, ensuring the correct processes and plans are implemented to prevent Danone from damageable risks.

Your profile:

·  A minimum of 10 years combined industry and/or with at least 3 years of experience in beverages/food manufacturing/ operations.
·  Practical experience in food safety management systems (FSSC22000, BRC or IFS)
·  Practical experience of auditing of food manufacturing sites
·  Practical experience with the safety of materials used in packaging, food and consumer items.
·  Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal direct supervision and the ability to adhere to aggressive deadlines
·  Must have strong demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and self-initiative skills
·  Must be self-driven, motivated and result-oriented with ability to perform well independently and remotely
·  Drive change with optimism (“Can do attitude”) and face difficulties along the way
·  Foster collaboration with other functions & departments, at all levels. Act to break silos.
·  Strong demonstrated verbal / written communications (with technical and non-technical functions), analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  Must be detailed and results oriented.
·  PC proficiency in windows-based applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access (preferred)
