For our international and multi-cultural Finance team we’re looking for a talented Finance professional who wants to further develop in Business Partnering, Financial Planning & Analysis and Controlling. This business controlling position is in the heart of our baby and children’s nutrition business unit and will give you an excellent base for a future finance career within Danone, a leading FMCG company.

About the Job

For our Finance team in Nutricia Worldwide, we are looking for a Business Controller. In this role, your primary focus is to co-manage the P&L of the business unit of the full cycle, from forecast to performance management. Acting as a business partner to our commercial team (marketing, sales and nutrition solutions), providing financial insights and drive the business to grow on both topline and bottom line.

Your key responsibilities
• Support topline performance through ad hoc analysis and recommendations of which include:
- Results assessment and animation.
- Category / Customer/ Channel strategy and P&L impacts.
- Innovation/renovation business case.
• Support actuals and rolling forecasting process of Topline including short to long term (Monthly closing, GPS, rolling forecast, and strategic plan), that summarizes and forecasts company business activity and financial position.
• Prepare monthly closing regarding topline business lines and providing the key information to stakeholders.
• Participate in contract pricing review/approval and in pricing/margin impact analysis.
• Monitor in a structural way the profitability of the business.
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
• Ensure compliance of accounting and internal control rules

About you

• You have a finance oriented university degree, master’s degree is a plus
• You bring 3-5 years of experience in controlling, ideally within a strong multinational FMCG company

• You have strong business acumen and you feel comfortable in challenging status quo if needed in a constructive way
• You are able to solve complex problems with smart & pragmatic solutions.
• You have excellent analytical skills, organized and autonomous
• You are a real team player and you can lead, motivate and convince others, other functions and departments at all levels
• You’re fluent in English (writing/speaking), other language(s) would be a plus
