Together with your team, you are supporting the tax compliancy in the different tax domains such as corporate income tax, VAT, Intrastat, duties & excise, … and are assisting in transfer pricing and other projects, tax reporting and tax audits. In this role, you will work 50% on the Danone entities of Belgium and 50% on Alpro EU4 (DACH, UK&I, NL, BELUX) entities. Doing so, you will get the opportunity to further deepen your tax knowledge and have more insights in our running finance projects.

You are part of the Finance department of Alpro, located in Ghent, and report directly to the Tax Manager Belgium Danone & Alpro EU4.

Standard working location is Ghent office. Based on your home loation and/or preference, you can however divide your working time between Ghent (3 days) and Brussels (2 days).

Main Responsibilities:

·  Submit timely and accurately VAT, Intrastat and duties & excise declarations for our legal entities.
·  Assist in the preparation of corporation tax returns/declaration (e.g. VPB, etc.) for Alpro’s and Danone’s legal entities and ensure submission on time.
·  Prepare quarterly income tax calculations.
·  Manage local tax watch and assist in anticipating impact on the business of any change in tax regulation.
·  Support in the availability of the transfer price documentation and other supporting documents for a.o deferred tax, deductibles.

Your Profile :

·  You have at least a Bachelor degree in Tax, Law or Accounting & Finance or related field; or equivalent by experience
·  A first working experience within Finance is a plus, e.g. as Accountant or in Tax. Experience with (international) tax principles is a big asset.
·  You have good analytical skills and are results oriented.
·  You have a hands-on attitude and you take initiative and ownership of the job.
·  Sound knowledge of MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ERP system (SAP is a big asset).
·  Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal. French is an asset.
