Milk Financial Analyst

Job description

We're looking for a Financial Analyst / Finance Manager in the controlling team specialized in Milk and Dairy Ingredients to support the integration of the Finance department of our Cycles and Procurement (C&P) central organization

About the role

Your key challenges will include these activities:

Financial Management & Processes:
- Leading role in monthly Financial forecasting and Performance animation
- Financial analysis of monthly results, reporting and performance KPI's follow-up
- Animation of net milk bill through consolidation and analysis of the Milk Scorecards
- Support the correlation models set-up in all countries (with follow-up of models accuracy)
- Milk farmgate price follow-up by country / net milk bill impacts vs. different forecast scenarios

Business Transversal Support:
- Active role in finding Fill The Gap action plans
- Support in Long Term Transition and Sustainability agenda and projects
- Strong connection with Danone Milk Market Intelligence team to ensure proper translation of drivers assumptions into financial net milk bill impacts by Region/Country
- Optimization of milk sourcing through analysis of protein/fat cost by sourcing type and by country
- Strong support to cost+ models expansion as part of Danone Milk strategy (set-up/validation of each business case, financial modelling for projects requiring CAPEX etc)

Other activities:
- Support to transversal projects related to Danone's Cycles & Procurement transactional scope extension
- Coordinate and optimize processes and ways of working within Finance and C&P communities of different countries
- Support in preparing the strategic analysis / Stratplan and add hoc analysis for business decisions

About you

You have:

- a Master in Finance, ideally with a deep knowledge of finance/BI tools (Hyperion / Essbase, Tagetik, SAP, TTM, etc).
- at least 4 years of controlling experience, ideally with some knowledge of the Milk or Dairy Industry.

As a person:

- We will welcome an open-minded, reliable, proactive and team-oriented person. Strong communication and technical skills are required to connect to other finance teams and manage financial forecasting and Milk procurement complexity. Strong transversal leadership skills are also necessary to drive decision-making in a matrix organization.

English being the working language, knowledge of another European languages, especially French, will be very useful.
