About the job:

The Master Data Analyst will interact with all levels of employees across multiple departments in the business as well as the Business Solutions Group and other Master Data Analysts regarding creation and maintenance of SAP master data. They will function as an expert in the core SAP business processes as they relate to master data.

• Manage SAP Master Data creation and maintenance requests using a defined process. Body of work includes utilizing knowledge of SAP master data elements and their usage in order to assist the user with request form completion and/or correction, assessing the request for accuracy and applicability to business processes, securing proper approvals, processing the request in SAP, and retaining documentation for audit purposes
• Lead the audit process to assure accuracy and integrity of master data.
• Develop procedures and standards as required
• Provide leadership and training regarding master data functionality to end-users
• Provide business analysis, cross-functional expertise, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and master data and global data synchronization knowledge to the organization
• Follow established master data create/change procedures and standards
• When needed, load data into SAP using standard processes and procedures.
• Partner with the business process owners and the Business Solutions Group on complex projects, implementations, and integrations to define master data requirements and participate in system testing.
• Work with the training group to develop training data and materials for future support releases
• When needed, load data into SAP using standard processes and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned

About you:

• High degree of initiative and ownership, as well as a proven history of delivering results while working with several different departments in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Customer Service orientation
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to comfortably interact with all levels of business
• Functional knowledge of the integration points between SAP modules
• Functional knowledge of master data impact on business processes
• Experience creating or maintaining one or more master data elements, such as customer master, pricing conditions, material master, BOM, vendor master, source list, etc.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task and manage workload in a dynamic environment
