POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Provide technical support in a professional manner to the manufacturing plant. This includes experience in plastic or blow molding operation, performing preventative maintenance, repair and upgrades to optimize efficiency, increase productivity, and assure safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Observe the daily manufacturing process and communicate and/or implement improvements to the operation
·  Maintain the operation in a manner that conforms to Local, State, AIB and Food Safety Standards required
·  Follow Danone North America guidelines for Good Manufacturing Practices when performing the requirements of Maintenance Mechanic
·  Install, examine, inspect, maintain and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures PLC & PID controllers and pipe, and electrical systems
·  Troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical problems using PLC, PID and or CMMS
·  Proficiency in computerized Maintenance Management System
·  Provide training of PIC & PID controls to maintenance associates
·  Cycle equipment or system to ensure safe and correct operation, to be able to improve efficiency and effectiveness
·  Set up and safely operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill press and milling machine to repair or fabricate parts as needed
·  Maintain maintenance area in a clean and orderly fashion; keep work area clean at all times
·  Operate a stand-up forklift and other heavy machinery whenever it is applicable
·  Utilize maintenance systems as necessary to complete daily, weekly, and monthly duties
·  Other duties as assigned

This position is for GRAVEYARD shift 10:00PM- 6:30AM. Starting Pay of $34.10.
