About the Job

You will be part of the Supplier Quality Assurance team of the Essential Dairy and Plant-based division of Danone. You will be working within an international team that manages a raw material spend of over 2 million euros worldwide. Within the team, you will play an essential role in supporting a large, international and professional team on a global scope by communicating with various quality suppliers and buyers.

As our Supplier Quality Intern, you will be responsible for the following tasks within the Quality and Food Safety Supplier teams:

·  Update the quality supplier database;
·  Support supplier quality and food safety requirement mapping;
·  Assist in the review, updating and archiving of the supplier quality documentation;
·  Support Quality reporting to management.

Next to the above mentioned, there will be as well some ad-hoc projects as you will get the chance to participate in audits and supplier assessments.

About You

You are a Master student of Food Science/technology, engineering, or any other scientific/technical subject with an additional quality management course or certification. You should be an open-minded person with profound interest in the field of quality supply. Your style of working is marked by precision and accuracy as you will need to work with a lot of data. Therefore, you also need to have good Excel skills and you should not let yourself be discouraged easily. Furthermore, you are eager to learn and like to work autonomously.

There are also some hard requirements that you should consider:

·  You need to be enrolled as a student during the whole duration of the internship (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
·  You are fluent in English – oral and written;
·  You can start in July for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days a week ;
·  You are able to work in Hoofddorp, Netherlands
