About the Job

As the new member of our Global Public Affairs Team at Danone Specialized Nutrition, you will join this small team in managing the relationships between SN and the external world. Working closely with the Public Affairs Director SN, Senior Public Affairs Manager and the Intelligence Manager; you will support them in their journey to shape the policy environment and positioning within Danone. You will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of all things related to policy intelligence, monitoring and external outreach. Your responsibilities will include:

·  Help monitor policy and regulatory developments on key issues relevant to the business
·  Conduct research and draft documents, presentations and other communications material
·  Support advocacy campaigns by liaising with consultancies and trade associations
·  Logistical support in the framework of events and meetings organisation

In addition to the above mentioned tasks, you will have the opportunity to drive projects fitting to your skillsets and interests within this scope.

About You

We are searching for a candidate with a background or profound interest in political science, public health, law or other relevant discipline. You have an open personality and strong communication skills in English and ideally another language such as French, Dutch or Spanish. This enables you to not be afraid to reach out to stakeholders to establish connections. You easily connect with others, are open to share ideas and support in a team but are also willing and able to work autonomously when necessary. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to continuously challenge the status quo.

You must also meet the following requirements:

·  You must be enrolled as a student for the whole duration of the internship (if you are not an EU-citizen, you must be enrolled in a Dutch university)
·  You are fluent in English – verbal and written.
·  You are willing to travel/relocate to Hoofddorp, NL.
·  You are available to start as of Feb/March for a minimum of 5-6 months, 4-5 days a week
