Danone North America is looking for a Deployment Planner, NY in White Plains, NY.

Responsible for overall deployment of finished goods from plant production locations to distribution centers. Accountable to develop and monitor deployment strategies that optimize service, costs and operational capacities for a specified category.

Objectives of the role: Overall responsibility for deployment strategy for specified category and locations

-Ensure overall deployment strategy is optimized and manage system planning parameters. Conduct regular consistent reviews of all parameters and update based on new criteria.

-Review daily and weekly deployment suggestions (STOs) to ensure accuracy and consistency.

-Manage issues and communicate with plants, DCs, Customer Service, Finished Goods Planners and Supply Chain counterparts.

-Review daily inventory levels at DCs to manage shelf life and proactively address imbalances.

-Review daily inventory levels at DCs against customer orders to proactively address service issues.

-Work with Distribution Centers/Plant Coolers to assist with capacity constraints and optimization strategies as appropriate. Responsible for accurate and consistent data accuracy throughout SNP to provide appropriate mid to long range plans.

-Participate in weekly supply planning team meetings with counterparts in finished good planning, deployment, forecasting and procurement to deliver key KPIs - service, DOS, L&D, forecast accuracy, material SS, obsolescence minimization and sourcing optimization

-Track and report key KPIs - loss & destruction, customer fill rate, sourcing, etc.

Required:

-1-3 years Supply Chain experience in CPG including supply planning.

-B.A. in Supply Chain Management/Logistics or related degree.

-SAP/APO knowledge a plus

-APICS certification desired

-Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes and safety stock optimization strategies.

-Demonstrated understanding of deployment practices, distribution theory.

-Solid communication skills, particularly in highlighting issues and take corrective action.

-Ability to set deadlines and key timetables to achieve with minimal guidance.
