Poste et missions:

We are looking for a VIE to develop new construction schema to improve the installation time of a light wall system (Gypsum based system).

Previous and ongoing studies on light wall system show potential improvement of the compromise between the installation time (easy to install) and sustainability (lower CO2 foot print), quality and intrinsic performances (fire resistance, acoustic…). The goal of the project will be to evaluate existing solutions, combine or improve them and propose a new concept to improve this compromise.

In this context, your main tasks will be to :

- Establish with technical expert the book of specification (BOS) for the German market
- Evaluate the solutions existing in regard to the defined BOS
- Ensure collaboration with the central team working on this thematic (based in Paris/England)
- Design new prototype (individual part, system and installation kit)
- Conduct laboratory trial to evaluate developed system in regards to the BOS
- Evaluate USP (Unique Selling Proposition) & Value Chain - Proposition for the different concept
- Organize customer visit to evaluate new concept
- Select the top 3 solution to be further developped

Profil:

We are looking for someone with ideally a background in Material Science Designer/ Industrial Designer or an engineering background.

Fluent English both written and spoken is mandatory for this position.
