Mission & responsibilities:
You will directly support the product development projects of the Container lab team, part of the R&D of Baxter.
-Organize, plan and perform functional testing to meet required timeframe and milestones
-Design engineering studies, analyze and interpret the results, write the reports and present observations and results to pertinent organization staff members
-Design prototypes, small tools and print the parts on the 3D printer
-Develop new methods, write test method validation protocols, interpret results to validate functional new test methods
-Screen new ideas, new test methods, new equipment suitable for Container and Closure System testing
-Adhere to the Quality systems and ensure GLP/GDP compliance
-Be compliant with the EHS and 6S rules in laboratory areas, maintain a safe and orderly work environment, identify and prevent hazards which could result in injuries or accidents
-You have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical or Material Sciences
-Team player, but also able to work independently with lots of freedom, well organized, sense of responsibility, clear communicator
-Able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and ability to perform within a cross-functional team environment.
-You are able to communicate and interact with colleagues in English
-Knowledge of CAD (Creo preferred)
-Knowledge of Statistical Analysis and Lean/Six Sigma tools is a plus
