This Business Group comprises two Product Groups: Lighting Systems and Wiper Systems.

To support our activities in Chennai we are looking for ASSEMBLY PROCESS ENGINEER in VIE mission

MAIN MISSIONS
- Lead the industrialisation of the new P1
- Capitalize and share the know-how of industrial processes in his domain
- Participate in the design of new equipment and new line
- Lead Lean design workshop

Industrialisation

To manage production equipment introduction using IPROM
To follow equipment development with the supplier
To design specific tools and validate supplier’s proposal
To define acceptance criteria for new equipment
To perform pre acceptance and acceptance of the equipment
To perform trials on the equipment and deliver reports
To build action plans and follow-up to be ready for FDPR
To perform and/or collect, capabilities of equipment and process
To set up equipment and propose PROCESS VALIDATION PLAN
To participate in PFMEA and CONTROL PLAN

Mass production

To monitor QCDM and propose improvements
To survey equipment’s performances , and always have optimisation in mind
To work on Cycle time reduction to optimize investment, material & labor cost
To update routing on Information system with SPV validation
To support production technicians (training, analysis, problem solving)
To be in contact with suppliers (improvement, support)
To participate in SPV workshop
To participate in APU QRQC

Standardisation

Validate PG RAISE and Specifications standards which are created by Standard Owners
Validate any standard evolution proposed by sites
To know, apply and promote standards ( PG, sites or corporate) in his domain
To apply the SPV rules

Environnement

Ensure respect of Safety and Environment procedures of Valeo Group
Maintain 5S and report issues
Alert for safety rules infringement

PROFIL
2 to 3 years of experience in these domains of knowledge : process and industrialisation
Master degree
Fluent in English
Team player, agility, reliable
