Coface Nederland,located in Breda, is part of the Northern European Region and reports to our regional head-office in Mainz, Germany. With approximately a hundred staff members we service over a thousand clients and among them many global accounts.

ROLE

We are looking for a Junior Risk Underwriter to join our Underwriting Team in Breda.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

-Monitor the outstanding Dutch risk exposure and to advice on actions to be taken;
-Draw up branch- and sector-analysis of the Dutch economy;
-Align with colleagues about underwriting decisions taken for our Dutch policyholders abroad;
-work on a portfolio monitoring to analyze policy performances and claim developments;
-To make a contribution to internal reporting;
-To prepare on client visits;
-To take smaller credit limit decisions on Dutch buyers.

PROFILE

-Master's Degree in Economics/Finance;
-Fluent in English;
-First experience in financial analysis and/or enhanced information activity; prior underwriting experience will be a plus;
-Awareness of macro-economic/ political climate;
-Ability to gather and analyze information from various external/internal sources: financial statements, sector, and country economic reports,etc.
