In a time when a large amount of information is accessible from a wide panel of sources, it is key to implement a strong knowledge management. Being essential for the business intelligence strategy, the knowledge management allows capitalizing our know-how and improving the way we store it and share it within the Group.
The project called “5S digital” will aim gathering all the historical knowledge recorded so far by the Business Innovation Center and migrating it to a knowledge platform or to an archiving system. The Junior Project Coordinator will implement a knowledge management methodology, structure and guidance and coordinate the data migration process.
The Junior Project Coordinator will be part of the Scouting and Research team and will work for the Business Intelligence and Idea Generation Specialist in the Business Innovation Center. He/she will work closely with the Global Application Directors, IP Director, Product Stewardship Director and Process and Synthesis Director. He/she will coordinate with all the Business Innovation Center teams, the IT team and the consulting company.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Define an implementation process and timelines for the R&D department
- Define a common way of working for the R&D teams: structure, roles and responsibilities and guidance
- Coordinates teams through the implementation process from the pre-analysis to the data integration phase
- Support Directors and teams to migrate their data into a new system
- Facilitate the coordination of the different steps within the agreed process and timelines across the different teams: R&D teams, IT team and consulting company.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time, in scope and within the budget and escalate any deviations
- Escalate any risk or issue to the management and define appropriate actions
- Be the contact person for the project

Duration: 1 year with possible renewal for 6 or 12 months

Location: The position will take place in the Business Innovation Centre (BIC) of Lhoist Group, located in Nivelles 30 km south of Brussels (Belgium).

Profile:
• Bac + 5 with project management experience
• Languages: English and French (fluent: oral and written)
• Competencies: Project management skills, excellent organization skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, team spirit, result oriented, creative problem solver, hands-on approach, assertiveness, proactive mind, business acumen
• Interest in Project management and Business Intelligence
