Job Title: Junior Mechanical Supervisor
Reporting: Mechanical Foreman

Purpose
Assist the Mechanical Foreman and support directly on site the execution Mechanical installation works activities.
The Junior Mechanical Supervisor will undertake a scope of works on the WestConnex Stage 3A (WCX3A) project including labour, productivity, materials, subcontractors, plant and equipment to ensure that objectives are met implementing site safety, quality and environment controls, identifying and assessing potential risks during the Project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the Mechanical Foreman to schedule, co-ordinate and manage daily tasks, rosters, hand overs etc. to meet all objectives relevant to the scope of work/job
• Support the Mechanical Foreman to ensure all of the temporary construction mechanical works for the site in order to support production
• Support the Mechanical Foreman to ensure equipment undergoes a Plant Hazard and Risk Assessment before commencing work and ensure operators are certified and competent and complete daily plant checklists
• Complete relevant paperwork in a timely manner
• Maintenance schedule and operating manuals/procedures.

• Identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services.

• Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor
Requirement
• BTS / Professional Bachelor (Earthmoving equipment maintenance, Civil Works, Agriculture, Industry) or mechanical trade certification
• 1 year of professional experience
• Fluent English
• Problem Solving & Productivity

• Strong mechanical aptitude
