Poste et missions:

•Financial control of the organisation, including the analysis and consolidation of financial and accounting reports for cost accounting, inter-company accounting, profit/loss statements, balance sheet, internal and external audits.
• Implement cost accounting processes and procedures for projects, departments and offices, ensuring processes are properly being followed to track billable time, timesheets, non-billable time, time per project, employee costs, resources costs and seat costs, and that cost accounting software is being properly used and is functioning efficiently.
• Review accounting reports and budgets, providing strategic analysis of figures to the Finance Director or Managing Director as required, and taking remedial action to address any inconsistencies in reconciliations or reports, and ensure that all year-end statutory requirements are properly adhered to.
• Ensure compliance with statutory authority and audit requirements, ensuring taxation and legislative requirements for business compliance are maintained at all times.
• Track and monitor revenue for accuracy, verifying it against general ledger reporting, on a monthly basis; ensure monthly accruals are properly adjusted to properly reflect business requirements; monitor and track debtors to ensure they are consistent with contract conditions and aged debts are not being accrued; track monthly office expenditures and lease arrangements.
• Monitor and track the organization’s fixed asset register; motor vehicle register; equipment and software licensing registers; to ensure that all organizational assets are appropriately accounted for, and reconcile the general ledger with the assets register.

Profil:

• Degree qualified in Finance or Accounting.
• A minimum of five years experience in a similar role within a multinational organisation.
• Excellent analytical skills with a high level attention to detail in order to review and critically analyse reporting and identify/correct discrepancies.
• Excellent strategic abilities with the ability to review accounting and financial reporting and make recommendations to the Directors of the organisation
• Good problem solving skills and the ability to be hands-on in training staff on business accounting principles.
• Good working knowledge of business accounting principles and business compliance.
• Previous experience in managing a small financial team, demonstrating leadership expertise and the ability to train others to follow accounting principles, and to implement continuous improvement strategies to increase accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and auditing.
• Excellent English language skills are a pre-requisite for this position.
• Good knowledge of accounting software applications.
