Keolis Downer recently won the Newcastle contract, which is the first multi modal transport contract in Australia.
To support our growth, we are looking for a Keolis Downer Finance Analyst, based in Sydney, reporting to the Regional Finance Manager and assisting him in the main Finance tasks.
It is important to have a French candidate who can liaise with Keolis Headquarters Finance team in France, as Australia is reporting their results to Keolis Group and participating to Group projects led by Keolis Headquarters.
This opportunity will help our VIE to develop versatile skills in Finance (accounting, controlling, treasury, tax) as well as social skills as she will interact with local and Keolis Group Finance teams.
After this experience, she may decide to stay in Australia to pursue in this role, or evolve towards another Finance position within the Keolis Group, especially in the Group Headquarters in Paris.

Position purpose :

- Main responsible for following up the corporate and business development structure in all Finance aspects (accounting, budgeting, controlling, treasury, tax).
- Highly involved in the consolidation and overview of Australian operations. Will be directly responsible for capex, kpis and action plan follow-up.
- Contributor to projects, especially IT tools ones, and support for bids.

Main tasks :

At Holding level
- Follow-up of our Holding entities which host KD Management and the Business Development team: end of month closing, reporting, financial statements, budget and forecast. Main focus is on staff, travel and bid costs.
- Review of treasury: payments, cash flow, financing, covenant testing.
- Review of tax: GST (VAT), PAYG (withholding tax), payroll tax for our Holding entities, and income tax for the tax group.

At Group level
- Consolidation of all entities (Light Rail, Bus and Holding) and contribution to the analysis at Group level. The KD Finance Analyst is responsible for the follow-up of the capex, kpis, productivity and the action plans in coordination with the Operations Finance teams.
- Participation to projects (procedures, dashboards, integration of new entities).

Experience and skills :

- Accounting or Finance diploma.
- Previous experience in accounting and controlling.
- Rigorous.
- Analytical skills.
- Curious and eager to learn.
- Autonomous in task scheduling and delivery.
- Team player when interacting with Finance teams locally in Australia and with Group HQ in Paris.
