COFACE IN AUSTRALIA

Coface entered the Australian market in May 2000. In 2005 Coface Services (Australia) Pty Ltd was granted an ASIC AFSL License allowing us to market our trade credit products directly and via brokers. Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA) granted Coface local insurer status on 1 July 2008. Coface Australia started operating as an APRA authorised local branch, subject to Australian regulatory rules. Our offices are in Sydney (main) and Melbourne and we have an agent in Auckland, NZ.

POSITION SUMMARY

Build up strong business relationship with existing accounts as to maximise the achievement of company goals and sales targets.

ROLE

Your role will be to :

-Key contact for Credit Insurance and Services solutions between clients, brokers and Coface internal functions;
-Maintain communication with the designated accounts and explore other business opportunities to achieve sales target;
-Ensure good working performance by improving own technical expertise on company products/ services;
-Prepare sales and/or progress reports;
-Prepare and negotiate tailored quotations for existing policies (direct and through intermediaries) prior to renewal and maintain a high level of retention of the current portfolio through dedicated Customer Service and Portfolio Management;
-Prepare quotations and presentations by exercising commercial delegation and/or preparation for review by Commercial Committee. Coordinate and communicate with all other departments specifically Risk Underwriting;
-Prospect/clients using SMART database management system;
-Preparation and management of the policy documentation and all associated paperwork.

PROFILE

-Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Banking or equivalent;
-Fluent in English;
-Minimum 1 year of sales or client relationship management ideally within a financial institution;
-Previous experience in a multi-cultural environment will be a plus;
-Able to work independently yet a good team player;
-Well-organised, meticulous and self-motivated.
