If this is you, you may be the Data Center Product Marketing Manager we need to expand our internal and external reach.

  • Content creation– Producing top of funnel, middle of funnel, Social, Videos, Digital, Seller/Partner enablement content
  • Messaging– Dissecting, understanding and communicating our bundled Cisco offerings to create effective, compelling and easy-to-consume messaging
  • Demand Generation– Working closely with our GTM teams to design effective campaigns that offer compelling content and target intended audiences
  • Digital– Working with our digital teams to improve our overall web presence and digital marketing techniques (web, social, search, PPC, digital advertising)
  • Events– Helping to plan and execute around the events we host and sponsor (Cisco Live, partner events, industry events)
  • Enablement– Helping to build content and lead webinars, events and other training initiatives that help sellers better articulate the value of the solutions we offer
  • “Sizzle”– Injecting content with fresh ideas, outside-the-box thinking, and creativity to help us achieve an outside-in approach

Who You'll Work With

You will become an integral part of Cisco's Data Center Networking and Solutions Marketing team, aiming to build Cisco's brand, thought-leadership presence, and demand and seller readiness programs for our entire MDS, Nexus, ACI, Tetration and Network Assurance Engine portfolio. You will partner with the larger marketing organization to help execute against our global strategy and collaborate closely with all of our partners (such as product BUs, services, and sales) that help deliver across the entire buyer's journey.


Who You Are

  • Minimum of 10 years marketing experience within a field marketing, product marketing, sales or pre-sales team
  • 3+ years IP Networking experience and knowledge on networking industry, products, and protocols
  • Experience working within an Internet Service provider infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of Industry standard protocols BGP, OSPF, ISIS including MPLS applications such as L2VPN, L3VPN, and QOS.
  • Experience resolving highly complex network issues for large SP customers
  • Proven ability to create, position and promote content (paid and organic) to drive awareness of technology products, solutions and services to diverse audiences
  • Excellent story-telling and solution messaging creation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including experience working in cross-functional teams and presenting / pitching to business executives
  • Proven ability to support demand generation programs, including events and digital content deployment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and respect for diverse groups of people
  • Availability to travel approximately 25% of the year
  • Proven ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization
  • Commitment to collaborative problem solving
