CHANEL is a private company and a world leader in creating, developing, manufacturing and distributing luxury products. Founded by Gabrielle Chanel at the beginning of the last century,CHANEL offers a broad range of high- end creations, including Ready-to-Wear, Leather Goods, Fashion Accessories, Eyewear, Fragrances, Makeup, Skincare, Jewelry and Watches.The organization is in the early stages of on-boarding this new banking partner. The Treasury Intern will be part of a small treasury team whose responsibilities are global. Together with the Treasury Director his/her responsibilities will focus on the  on-boarding of the new Global Banking Partner. The role will be located in Luxembourg and will entail considerable coordination amongst regional & country teams, system set up and documentation processing.

P rincipal Activities

-Own completion of documentation relating to the implementation of the new Global Banking Partner
-Coordinate with Regional & Local teams in the execution of project activities
-Monitor & document the progress of the Global Banking Project implementation team
-Maintain open lines of communication with the Global Banking Partner, ensuring common understanding & alignment
-Create materials relevant to the project ie. PowerPoints updates/Excel analysis  and share updates with the wider team through communication tools such as Microsoft Teams & SmartSheet

Qualification & Skills
-Experience with bank accounts and banking services
-Comfortable building relationships and working with multiple teams remotely. Confident to work independently on certain tasks ensuring momentum on project implementation.
-Enjoys learning new systems and leveraging such tools to work more efficiently. Strong in Microsoft Office Teams, Sharepoint, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
-Strong Focus & attention to detail minimizing re-work & time to review, documenting decisions & agreements.
-Desire to learn and contribute to the team

Education/Experience
-University degree in progress or completed with business, finance or accounting major
-0-1 year Treasury Finance experience
-Knowledge of treasury related IT & Systems
-Familiarity with project implementation
