UI Engineer

Position Description
As a UI Engineer, you will be a key player in the definition and execution of CGI goals.We are looking for an accomplished and capable UI Engineer to join the team! We have built our success through timely bets on emerging technology, rapid execution and skills development.
As a UI Engineer, you will contribute to generating high quality front-end code while creating a more efficient and sustainable workflow. You will also inherit/define reusable patterns to build out front-end architecture more efficiently using popular JavaScript Frameworks like Angular, React, etc. You will be part of high performing Agile team that consists of iOS/Android engineering teams, enterprise architecture teams and customer facing teams (like PMs, Business, QA, etc.). You will be hands-on by creating technical designs, promote and champion best technical practices with the engineering teams and focus on both tactical and strategic digital product development. You will also perform code reviews, triage bugs and, you get to code.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Ship high-quality Web Applications.
• Working with TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS, IntelliJ, etc.
• Working with containerization software like OpenShift, AWS, etc.
• Active coding of the highest caliber.
• Working with different types of people and practice servant leadership.
• User Interface and Visual Design.
• Design and code front-end (highly polished UIs, animations, and transitions) deliverables and integrate with APIs or DB services.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• In-depth experience working with TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS, IntelliJ, etc.
• Working knowledge of containerization software like OpenShift, AWS, etc.
• You can design and code front-end (highly polished UIs, animations, and transitions)
deliverables and integrate with APIs or DB services
• You’re a kind, pragmatic communicator with good knowledge of Agile and Scrum environment.
• You are a stellar team player who can own a project (or more!) and have worked on large-scale JavaScript applications.
• You collaborate with non-technical folks (PMs, Sales, Design, QA) as easily as you
do with engineers.
• You are familiar with the technology landscape, have demonstrated social and professional technology engagements.
• You clearly understand Test Driven Development and can mentor other engineers on when code needs to be wrapped with unit, integration, and system tests.

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred.
